In this video, Shaun Bryant explains how the standardization of layer linetypes is important for every DWG linked into Revit.
- [Instructor] Once again we're still in…the LayerStandards.dwg file,…and I've left it in exactly the same state…as it was at the end of the last video…with our Layer Properties Manager open.…We can close that now,…so let's close the Layer Properties Manager…and we'll also come out of the layout one tab…and click back here on the model tab…so we're back in the model.…That'll go back to that zoomed view…that we had previously when we…were looking at things like layer colors,…so I'm just gonna double click on the wheel…and we'll zoom extend so I can see…everything in the drawing,…maybe roll back a notch or two on the wheel…just so you can see the whole drawing like that…with all of the grids and all of the doors,…windows, walls, etcetera.…
Now we're gonna start looking now at linetypes.…Now linetypes are really important as well,…especially on things like grid lines.…Now you'll notice that the grid lines at the moment…look like solid lines.…Now let's go and have a look at one of those in more detail.…I'm gonna zoom in on the grid K,…
