Join and extrude stair profiles
- [Instructor] The next project is to model this stair here which we see in a plan representation. If you notice in the section drawing over here there's also a representation of that stair. And this has additional detail that we don't see in the plan. Mainly these nosings on the treads. So because of this additional detail I think I'd like to approach modeling this stair by extruding this profile. Right now this profile is part of this entire section drawing. And the whole thing is highlighting because this is a group. I'd like to toggle pickstyle by pressing Control + H. That toggles pickstyle off. And now I have access to the individual parts within that group. I'd like to copy those objects by making a selection around that. And here I selected this line accidentally, so I'll hold down the shift key and click on it to remove it from the selection set. And then I'll just copy these over to the side somewhere. And if you look closely at the drawing here it looks like the top stair…
