Inserting, aligning, and scaling an image
- To get started using AutoCAD Raster Design, it's best to start from scratch. So to get going, let's go to our Start Up dialog here, and under Get Started, let's go ahead and click on Start Drawing. I'll close out of my Properties for now. This will open up a blank drawing. What I'd like to do is insert an image. So, on the Insert & Write panel, let's click the Insert button right here. Browse to where you're keeping your images. I'm going to grab my Architectural First Floor. Now, for some of my options, I want to use an insertion wizard, and I'd like to zoom to the images once it's inserted. I'm going to click Open. There's not much we can do about these defaults here, so let's just click Next. We could change these defaults, but let's keep them as is. Let's go ahead and click Next. Now let's click Finish. It inserts the image and zooms in on it. What I'd like to do now is orient it. You'd probably have to get used to the fact that, you'll seldom have an image that is zero degrees…
