- [Instructor] So we're staying in the…01_IntroductionAnnotation.dwg file…and we've looked at why would we use Annotation Scaling.…That's for the consistency in our drawings.…And I've introduced you to Annotation Scaling…and you can kind of see how it works.…Basically, what you do is set an annotation scale…in the model space that tallies up…with the viewport scale in the Layout tab.…Now, how do we utilize that effectively?…Now, we're back in the Model tab now…in the 01_IntroductionAnnotation.dwg file.…
And you can see that we've got this…200 dimension I mentioned previously.…The one that is actually annotative with the little symbol.…So that's when we go into the Layout tab.…It appears quite happily here in that viewport.…That's because it's using an annotation scale of 1 to 4.…So again, I'll reiterate the viewport is set to 1 to 4.…You can see that on the status bar there.…If I go back to the Model tab, here as well,…this particular dimension is also…using the annotation scale of 1 to 4.…
