- [Shaun] Autodesk provide an incredibly diverse array of computer aided design and building information modeling software applications that enable the user to, as Autodesk say, make anything. In order to make anything with your Autodesk software, you need to ensure that you're using the software with the optimum hardware configurations to get the full benefits. You need to make sure you set your graphics card, sometimes known as a graphics processing unit or GPU, to the appropriate settings. You also need to make sure in your Windows operating system or Mac operating system, that your graphics card is operating effectively. You'll also need to use the appropriate human interface devices such as you might be using a 4k or HD monitor screen, perhaps a pointing device, such as a mouse, and your input device, such as a keyboard. You will also need to make sure that you're using all the appropriate settings in your Autodesk software as well. So we'll be looking at Autodesk applications, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and also 3D Studio Max, sometimes known as 3ds Max. Join me, Shaun Bryant, as I take you into a more detailed look at your Autodesk software configuration and hardware configuration, and find out how you can set up optimum settings for your Autodesk software applications.
