Freezing viewport layers

- [Instructor] So we're staying in the 05 Elevations 2D House Drawing as usual as we work through this chapter. And I've left the drawing in exactly the same state as it was in the previous video. So, what we've got is our house east elevation there in the view port. Now that we've set the annotation scale, the dimensions appear nicely in that one to 100 scale view port. I'm going to zoom and pan with the view port deactivated like so. And one thing you might want to do when you're doing this is make sure that your view ports are locked. Now once you've set a scale, and you've set your annotation scale and your view port scale and so on, you want to click there and come down to the status bar. There's a little padlock in there, that will lock that view port at that scale. So you cannot actually change the scale of the view port. Quite useful little tool. Hit Escape to deselect, just click on the edge of the plan view on there just above. Just see that at the top of the screen. Again…
