- [Voiceover] I'm staying in the 14_Layouts.dwg file,…and you'll notice I'm in the STAIR A layout tab…that we created earlier on.…You'll notice that I've zoomed in a little bit…on the view port there.…I'm going to zoom in even closer now.…Get in nice and tight on the viewport…so that it fills the screen.…Don't do this, though.…That's the worst thing you can do because…you now can't see the edge of the viewport.…You can to come out and actually be able to see…the edges of your viewport.…Something like that will be fine, for now.…
What I'm going to show you is how to freeze…layout layers, or viewport layers as they're known.…We're going to use a thing called viewport layer freeze.…What it allows you to do is it allows you to freeze…all the layers that you don't need to see…in your viewport.…Make sure you go to the Home tab on the ribbon, like so.…What you want to do is you want to freeze…the viewport layers of the current viewport.…This is really neat, because it freezes the layers…in the viewport but it doesn't freeze them in the Model tab.…
