Exporting a tool palette

- [Instructor] We've now moved into another chapter of our using tool palettes in AutoCAD course. We're going to be looking at importing and exporting our tool palettes and our palette groups. So we've got a new drawing open, which is 05_Importing&Exporting.dwg. You can download that from your Linda.com exercise files to follow along with the video. Now, be aware, when you create a tool palette and a tab, like we have, you'll notice I've left the furniture one open this time, and the tool palettes are open. Now, tool palettes stay open, regardless of whether you open or close a drawing. They're an AutoCAD tool, rather than a drawing-specific tool. Now, it does depend on where you've located those blocks for this particular tool palette tab, the furniture tab. Let me show you what I mean. If I go to Dining Set METRIC and right click and go to properties, there is a source file there. Now, it goes all the way, great big long one off the screen, and that's purely my file management.
