Exporting occupancy table data to Excel

- [Voiceover] We're starting another chapter now in our AutoCAD facilities management 103 occupancy course. We're gonna look now at exporting the occupancy table data. Now the good thing is, all AutoCAD tables export data out in a csv file, a comma delimited format. So we can save the data from our table out to something like Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel. Now, we're in a new drawing, 00 ground fm exporting .dwg. Download it from your Lynda.com exercise files, make sure you reference in the ga. Quick sality check, go to the insert tab on the ribbon into the reference panel, click on the little arrow and you'll see there in the external references palette that there's our FP, our renamed XREF. If I hover over that you can see it's 00 ground ga exporting .dwg. Again, you'll find that in your Lynda.com exercise files, so reference into the fm drawing and then make sure you rename it as fp like so so you can see that in the external references there.
