You can export your project out to a number of applications, including Microsoft Excel. Author Shaun Bryant takes you through how to do that.
- [Narrator] Once again, we're in our WD Demo Project … and we're in Drawing Demo 02. … One of the really cool features in AutoCAD Electrical … is the ability to import and export data to spreadsheets. … So what we're going to do in this particular video … is export all of our data out to a known spreadsheet. … In the next video, we're going to edit that spreadsheet … and then we're going to bring those details … back into our AutoCAD Electrical drawing. … Now I'm going to work with drawing demo02.dwg … on this particular exercise over the next two videos. … So we're in the import export data tab on the ribbon. … And what I want to do now is export out to a spreadsheet. … So I'm going to go to the export panel, … click on to spreadsheet, I'm going to select components … and click on okay. … Now what we're going to do is do component data export … for the active drawing. … It's going to go out to an Excel file for that, … location close to extract, … I'm just going to select that as all and click on okay. …
