- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our Project1,…our basic Revit project with our linked CAD file,…and we're on floor plan level zero,…you can see that in the project browser…on the right hand side.…So what I'm going to do, I'm gonna select my linked CAD file…again, and you can see its pinned in place…like so with a little pin there.…We touched on all of that…in the previous videos in this chapter.…Now, we're gonna have a look at exploding a CAD drawing…in your Revit project.…Now, at the moment, we have a linked CAD file.…
So that means that there is a link…between the CAD file and the Revit project.…Now you'll notice I've got the linked CAD file selected…so the ribbon has gone green…and it's prompting me to modify…the 00_Office_GROUND_PLAN.dwg,…and you'll notice in the Import Instance panel,…I can delete the layers, like we did previously…in previous videos, and I could also Query objects…in that Import Instance.…So I can query anything in the linked CAD file.…Now, here's the thing.…I can't Explode anything in the Import Instance.…
