- [Instructor] There are times where the information that was stored in one drawing may no longer be in the right location, the information that you've wanted to share has changed. How do you repath, or how do you change what is referenced? Well, let's look at two ways and highlight a third way in this video. We're going to open up our exercise file for this video, in Chapter Two of our Exercise Files found on the desktop, and choose to go to the 02-04_EditShortcut drawing. Now, when you do so, you'll see the surface showing up in this drawing, everything looks fine. But if you go to prospector and expand out Surfaces for this drawing, you'll see that the data reference, the little shortcut icon, has a big exclamation point there. The reason being is it cannot find the location of the source drawing. Now, you can always come and validate the data shortcuts for the project, but the issue is, the project doesn't exist, so we're gonna right-click on this broken reference and choose to…
