Editing XREFs in place

- [Instructor] We're staying in our XREFs.dwg file, and as you can see our property line is still attached as the XREF drawing. And I've left it in the same state as it was in the previous video. Now in the previous video, we looked at editing the XREF by open it up as a separate drawing. And then we edited it, saved it, and when we went back to the XREFs.dwg file, AutoCAD prompted us to reload the property line XREF. Now you can edit your XREFs in place in the host drawing, so I can edit this XREF while I'm still in the XREFs.dwg file. So we're going to have a look at that now, just do a quick sanity check though. There's your little orange XREFs icon, bottom-right. Just click on it, and just that make sure your property line XREF is the appropriate XREF there. And you can see that we've got the dot, and the PropertyLine.dwg indicating a relative reference file path. And then close the external references palette.
