- [Instructor] We're staying in our panel drawing, our demo08.dwg file. And we're going to have a little look now at editing our panel footprint. Now, the actual workflow and process of doing this is remarkably similar to schematic drawings with schematic components. And what I'm going to do, I'm going to work on this button here that we brought in in previous videos, just make a few changes by editing the description, and showing you how that works. Now, when you want to edit a panel footprint, be aware that you need to edit particular components of that footprint. So, for example, if I want to edit that text there that says BANK #2 FIBER STOP, I don't want to edit the little enclosure, sort of like nameplate there. I need to actually edit the button itself. So that's there. So what I do is I hover over that and highlight, right-click and hold, and edit footprint. It's that quick and easy off of the marking menu.
