- [Instructor] Now that we have these white lines representing the roof slopes, I need to think about what I'm going to do with them. Well firstly I'm going to use those lines to cut the walls back. But then I'd like to use them again, to generate the roof objects themselves. So I propose duplicating all of this information so that we can use it twice. And to do that we're going to need to create a new layer. So I'll come over to the layer properties manager and create a new layer called dash roof. And then let's set that layer with a different color. I'll make it a light green. I don't need to make it the current layer, though. I just need to have a layer to accept this new information. Then, I'm going to isolate layer zero. I'll type layiso. Enter. Click on one of these lines and press enter. I'd like to copy these white lines representing the roof onto themselves.
