- [Voiceover] We're now in a new section of our plotting and publishing in AutoCAD course and what we're going to be looking at is Quick View and the drawing tabs in AutoCAD. Now you'll notice we've got a new drawing setup. It's 06_QuickView&Tabs.dwg. You can see that at the top of the screen there. Download it accordingly from your lynda.com exercise files so that you can follow along with the videos. Now, let's have a look at drawing tabs first of all. This was a new feature available in AutoCAD 2016 and it's still in AutoCAD 2017 as well. And it's just there above the drawing in between the drawing and the ribbon. And you can see the tab here. So you can see we've got an 06_QuickView&Tabs tab indicating that that drawing is a current drawing. What we've also got is the Start menu, and that's what comes up when you first start up AutoCAD itself. So if you've got no drawings open that's what you'll see.
