In this video, Shaun Bryant shows how the Drafting Settings dialog box can be resized to suit your needs.
- [Instructor] We're staying in our robot 001.dwg file…for this particular video…and we're sticking with looking at the user interface…in AutoCAD Mechanical.…Now, one of the new features…that is in AutoCAD Mechanical is the ability…to resize your drafting settings dialog box.…Now, your drafting settings are mainly down here…in the status bar,…things like object snap, object snap tracking and so on.…So, I'm just going to right click on object snap here…and go to object snap settings on the menu…and it brings up the drafting settings dialog box…way over on the right-hand side of the screen there.…
That's purely due to the screen real estate…that I've got running.…I don't have a very big resolution…when I'm recording these videos.…So, what'll happen is basically the dialog box…would go onto the screen as if I was using…a much bigger screen…like you're probably using at the moment.…So, I'll just drag the drafting settings dialog…into the screen area and you can see it's quite large.…But what I can do is I can hover on the edges…
