In this video, learn how to utilize the dialog boxes in AutoCAD.
- [Instructor] We're staying in our interface.dwg file … and we're going to take a look now at dialog boxes and pallets. … Now, dialog boxes are a standard thing … when you're using a Windows-based application. … Pallets on the other hand are AutoCAD specific … and I'll show you the subtle differences between the two. … So as I said, we're in the interface.dwg file, … we're still in the model tab, … bottom left there at the moment, … just looking at the floor plan of our building. … Now a typical dialog box … would be your dimension-style dialog box … that you would utilize to work with dimension styles … in your AutoCAD drawings. … Now, we'll get into dimension styles and things … a little bit later, I just want to show you the dialogue box … and how it functions. … So go to the home tab on the ribbon … and in your annotation panel here, just click on the fly out … and you'll see here, we've got an icon here … that says, dimension style, just click on it. … And that'll open up your dimension style manager. …
