- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now…in our AutoCAD construction drawings course.…We're going to be looking at creating sections…and we've got a new drawing for you.…It's called Creating Sections.dwg.…You can see it at the top of the screen there…and you can download it from the website…to use alongside with the videos,…obviously in this particular chapter.…Now we're going to start creating sections…of what we created in the previous chapter.…So you can see your plan view and your south elevation…and your east elevation there.…
We're going to utilize the information we've got…in the elevations to generate some sectional views as well.…Now before we do that we're going to develop…some section markers.…Now in this particular drawing,…there's a nice little AutoCAD block called Section Marker,…and what it allows you to do…is develop section marks on the plan view,…which you can then create section views from.…Let me show you what I mean.…We're going to go to the Home tab on the ribbon…and in the Layer dropdown now,…
