Creating walls with the Polysolid tool

- In this video we'll create the foundation of our house, and use the Polysolid tool to draw the inner walls. Let's start by making the foundation layer active, it's right here, 3D Foundation. Then let's zoom in on the origin, I'm going to use the Polyline command, PL Enter. Got my end snaps on, and I'm just going to trace the outside of the plan. I can type C Enter to close. Now I need to know how high to extrude this shape. I'm going to consult my section. I'll type the command DI, for distance to measure, and I can see that this is 2'8" I'll orbit into a three quarter view, and extrude, you can abbreviate that comamnd, EXT Enter. Select that polyline and extrude it up 2'8", Enter. Now I'm going to use the grip tools to move this plan. I'll click once on this grip, hit the spacebar to toggle to Move Point, and I'll snap it to the top of that shape I just created. Let's switch into a hidden visual style. In the Properties panel, let's change to 3D Wall Interior. We have just a little…
