Creating an occupancy legend on your drawing

- As we build up our occupancy areas and occupancy information in our facilities management drawing, what we can do is perhaps create a legend on the drawing that allows us to define what objects are physically showing for occupancy in that particular drawing. So you can see we've used some hatches and some gradient fills. What we're going to do now is we're just gonna create a very simple legend. Now you can do this in the model space, you can do this in the layout space. It's entirely up to you how you do this. I normally create a legend in the model space, and then do a separate viewport in my layout tab to show just the legend on its own. So I'm just gonna zoom in above these occupancy areas here, because I want to be able to use this hatch and gradient fill sitting here. Now I'm gonna go to the Layers panel here, and I'm gonna make sure I'm on layer zero in the layer pull down. Now I already am, which is great.
