Creating an enhanced region

- This area of raster design was the hardest for me to understand. Raster Entity Manipulation, or REM Not the band you used to listen to in college but the nerdy version. Essentially, before we can make any actual modifications to our raster image, we need the ability to reach into that image and kind of temporarily convert the raster data into something we can select or at least something AutoCAD can recognize. So, by creating a region we are basically activating an area of our raster image to be able to make edits. The objective of this video is to select an area of our image. We will then look at the REM properties to determine the best pick methods. So let's open up AutoCAD. Over in the Get Started area, let's go ahead and click on Start Drawing. Now, on the Insert & Write tab let's go ahead and click on Insert. Let's grab Architectural First Floor. On the Insert options, let's go with an Insertion Wizard.
