Creating a block library in two clicks

Using tool palettes is a great way to organize your block libraries. However, it can sometimes be a little time consuming dragging each and every block from a drawing onto a palette. In this lesson, we're going to look at a way to create a block library in two clicks. As you can see I've just launched my AutoCAD and I'm sitting in the default Drawing1 file. I'm going to open up the Design Center. Now mine happens to be anchored to the left side of the screen if your Design Center is not visible you can always press Ctrl+2 to turn it on.

Over here on the left side, I am going to navigate to the exercise files folder on my system. I'll click the Plus to open the folder. I'll click Plus to open up chapter_05 and let's take a look at this drawing called arch-furniture. I'm going to click the Plus to navigate into this drawing.
