Create door headers
- [Instructor] At this point, we have walls that are separate pieces on the second floor. Let's look at this in shaded with edges mode. The reason that there's separate pieces is because we have a couple of door openings here. Let's fill that in. This wall here's on an angle, with respect to the world coordinate system. So to fill that in, I'm going to draw a poly line and snap that around on these corners. I'll type c to close. I like to extrude this on the same layer that we have the second floor walls, so I'll type L-A-Y-M, enter, click on the second floor wall, and that makes the dash wall two layer current. Then, extrude this poly line down to the base of the second floor walls. Then let's move this object up, the height of the door below, and I happen to know that it's six foot eight. I'll type six foot eight enter. And then over here, we're going to do something similar. We're going to create another object. This time I can use a rectangle, because it's parallel to the…
