- Now that we've modeled half the drive unit,…it's time to orbit underneath and model the other half.…Go to the surface tab and choose extrude.…I want to extrude that yellow path right there.…It's hard to select though,…because it's interfering with the other surfaces.…So what I recommend doing is orbiting…over to the side where you have a clear area…that isn't overlapping anything else.…Then make a crossing window that encompasses…what you're interested in, hold down the shift key…and click on the object…that you don't want to have in the selection.…
I want this yellow path at the bottom edge of the surface.…Press enter, and you can see that I got it.…Let's move it down 30 units, press enter.…That makes for a symmetric drive unit so far.…The next thing we need to do is copy this next path,…which I can select, copy that straight down.…We don't want to be deceived…about which direction it's going in,…so you might want to orbit around…until you can see that clearly.…Now I'm moving it along the Z direction.…
I want to move that down 40 units, that's right.…
