Configuring viewports for the document model

- In this video, we will document the 3D model using viewports. This will allow us to view the model from different angles and create 2D drawings. Let's go to S1, open the Layer Properties manager and create a new layer called Viewport. Set that layer current by double clicking right here. Close the Layer Properties manager and type M V for make viewport, enter, and click two opposite corner points to create a window into model space. Double click in the viewport to activate it. You can now hold the shift key and drag the mouse wheel to orbit the model. Orbit to some aesthetically pleasing point of view, such as this one, and double click outside the viewport here on the layout itself to go back into paper space mode. Let's create another viewport next to this one, M V enter, I'll create another one over here. The object appears slightly smaller in this viewport simply because this viewport is slightly smaller than the other one. If we want to use an actual scale in the viewport we…
