- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip … and trick for AutoCAD. … We're going to have a look now … at the snapshot function available to you … in the DWG Compare command. … It's a really useful feature … because within every snapshot that you create … from comparisons of drawings, … you can go to each comparison shown … by the revision clouds … as per the DWG Compare command. … Now, that might sound a bit confusing. … It's much, much easier if I take you through it. … So we've got two drawings for you … for this particular Tips & Tricks video. … You can see them in the file tabs here. … DWG001, DWG002. … DWG001 has the circles and the hexagons. … DWG002 only has the hexagons. … So you can see where there's going to be a comparison. … The two circles are only in one of the drawings. … So make sure you've got DWG001 as your current tab up there, … as your current drawing available … and viewed on the screen. … We then go up to the Collaborate tab … on the AutoCAD ribbon … and run the DWG Compare command like so. …
