Build roof surfaces
- [Instructor] Let's work on the roof next. Type layiso, click on one of these rooflines and the second floor walls, enter. So we have these roof lines left over from an earlier video but they don't truly capture the shape of the roof. We're going to have to draw in a few extra lines here. Let's change the current layer to -ROOF and then draw lines, tracing the shape of the walls. So I'm just going to click around in these points on top of the wall and also on this side we need to draw lines going around the walls here and tracing the actual shape of the walls rather than this larger, kind of rectangular shapes that we had earlier. So I'm just going to continue tracing around on the top of this wall until the sketch meets up with what we had earlier. And then I'll turn off the 2D wall layer, sorry, the second floor wall layer and then trim and trim away these extra pieces. And then erase any of the extra lines that we don't need.
