Baseline dimensions
- [Voiceover] In the previous video we actually looked at placing some continuous dimensions. What we're going to do this time is remove those continuous dimensions and place some baseline dimensions. Now they're on the same pull down menu, on the Annotate tab on the ribbon, here on the fly out there on the Dimensions panel, so you got Continue and Baseline. Now the baseline is subtly different, and your baseline spacings are normally set in your dimensions style. So what I'm going to do here is I'm just going to remove the 2625s here, and the 5250, just gonna delete those. And we're gonna place the same object snaps, but a baseline set of dimensions instead. So again, make sure you're on the right line using the right dimensions style, and we need to place a linear dimension first. So we go to the fly out and select Linear, and remember it's that intersection there with the gridline 'til the end of the midline there in the room. We drag that down and place it there, like that.
