- [Instructor] Welcome to this AutoCAD Essential Training course. What we're going to do here is take you through all the essentials you need to know to get to grips with the AutoCAD software. We'll be using the latest version of AutoCAD, which in this case will be AutoCAD 2021. And what we'll be doing is we'll be taking you through all the different aspects of the software, the tools, the methodologies, so that you come out of the end of the course, a competent AutoCAD user. As you can see from the drawing on the screen, these are the sorts of drawings we're expecting you to be able to create once you've completed this course. We'll be taking you through all different aspects of AutoCAD, such as scaling drawings, creating drawings, design, reuse, and working with the content in your existing AutoCAD drawings as well. So I do hope you enjoy this course. And I do hope that when you come out of this course at the other end, you become empowered and a much, much more competent AutoCAD user.
