Attaching and overlaying XREFs

- [Instructor] We're staying in our XREFs.dwg file, and as you can see, I've left it in the same state as it was at the end of the last video. So you can see there that the dashed line, the XREF, is attached to the host drawing, the XREFs.dwg file, because it's still there. Now there's ways that you can check whether you've got XREFs attached to your host drawing. Bottom right corner, you'll see a little orange sheet of paper with a paperclip. If I hover over that and click on it, it opens up the external references palette, and it allows me to see that the PropertyLine drawing is my reference drawing, my XREF. I'll just close that now. The other way to check is to go to the Insert tab on the ribbon, go to the Reference panel, click on this little arrow here, and again, that opens up the external references palette. Now, with the external references palette open, select the PropertyLine drawing, the reference drawing, the XREF, and you'll see it highlights in the host drawing behind…
