Annotation scales and viewport scales
- [Instructor] We're staying in our 05 Annotative Hatches drawing, and in the previous video we set up our annotative hatch here to have multiple annotation scales. So right now, in the Layout tab, it's utilizing the one to four viewport annotation scale here, and the one to five viewport annotation scale here, and the hatching is looking consistent across viewports that have different scales. If I double-click in the right hand viewport, and change the scale to say one to 10. So I click on the one to five there on the status bar, change it to one to 10. Everything gets smaller. Now you'll notice the dimensions stay there, that's because they're not annotative. So they will just stay regardless, and scale according to the viewport scale. If I now double-click outside the viewport, you can see that that view is a lot smaller. So I'll zoom in, and I'll pan down a bit. And also, the hatch pattern has disappeared because it doesn't have that particular annotation scale applied to it. So…
