Adding chamfers to overhangs

- In this video we'll fix subtle overhangs by adding chamfers. Now let's start by thawing out the layers. We've been using the Lay freeze and Lay thaw a lot, but at this point we're done with the 2D layers, and I just wanna work with that 3D set, so let's try a different command. I'm going to type the -LAYER command. It's essentially a way to do the dialogue box free LAYER command. I've got lots of options here. I'm gonna choose T for Thaw. Now I can either type a series of names of layers. In my case I wanna thaw out all of the layer names that start with 3D. So I'll type 3D and then add a *, which is kind of like saying all the layers that begin with 3D. And I'll choose Enter. See they thaw out there nicely. It prompts me to do another change but I'm done, so I'll hit return one more time. Let's take a look at our house model. These short overhangs that are located here in the doors and the windows, they're not gonna really be a problem. These small bridges can be successfully…
