217 3D Design: Applying materials to surfaces using the Materials Browser to enhance your renders

- [Instructor] We're going to take a look at 3D design in AutoCAD in this particular tip and trick. And we've got a drawing for you. It's called 217 3D Design Materials.dwg. You can see the name of the file in the title bar at the top of the AutoCAD screen. And as usual, you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, when you do open up the drawing, you should be in your Model space. So that's down here, bottom left, you're in the Model tab, like so. And also you should be in the Top view on the view cube like that. If you're not, just make sure that you are. And you should be looking down on a blue 3D solid with five holes in it, like that. Now what we're going to do as well, just to make sure that we're fully 3D, is we'll make sure that our Workspace is 3D Modeling as well.
