Updating drawing information using the Drawing Properties dialog box
- [Narrator] When using Plant 3D, we have the option to add information to our model drawing files that can be used to populate our title blocks or to be used as filters when running reports. We can do this by adding data to the drawing properties. Let's take a look at how to add additional data to your drawings and discuss the benefits of using this method over traditional title block attributes. So for example, if you're working in a project, and we want to look at the properties, what we can see here that the drawing the model that we have, we can assign it a separate drawing number, which is often the case, we often call the files a little different from the drawing number because we're limited to characters. And we can assign additional information. Now the information we can add, this can be customized at the project administrator level, where we can add things such as drawn by, checked by, approved by.
