Understand dynamic tool palettes

- [Instructor] Most of you, I'm sure, will be familiar with AutoCAD Tool Palettes. Tool Palettes are used to organize your blocks and symbol libraries into manageable, easy-to-retrieve groups. Now, we do use Tool Palettes for the 3D piping symbols, but the Tool Palettes work in a slightly different way. Let's take a look at how Dynamic Tool Palettes are used and see what makes them different from the regular Tool Palettes. So let's navigate to our exercise files. We want to go to Desktop, Exercise File, Chapter 01 and Project.xml. So the Tool Palettes that you see here are a little bit different. You see here we've named them out as being dynamic pipe specs. Now, what this means is we're not actually building the tool palette the way you normally would do inside of regular AutoCAD where you have the symbol stored somewhere on a network drive and you can just add and remove from the Tool Palettes. What we're looking at here are the symbols that are contained in your Piping Specs. So…
