- [Instructor] The most important aspect of using a SmartPlant design program is the flexibility that we have to customize the project in order to produce drawings and reports that are tailored to suit either our own company standards or your clients. Most of the work that you'll do will be contained in the Plant 3D class definitions. Let's take a quick overview of the out of the box classes and take a look at the information that's contained in them. First we'll navigate to our desktop Exercise Files Chapter one, project.xml So let's go to our Project Setup. And we're going to navigate down to our Plant 3D drawing settings. And we're going to highlight the Plant 3D Class Definitions. So, let's take a look at what we have here. These are grouped out into five different areas, and if we click on the first one, the settings that you see here are all the data fields that are associated with our Plant 3D line group. So the information that you see here is always going to be line specific.…
