Set up your ortho template
- When you create an ortho drawing you start with a basic template file that determines which title block will be used and what the drawing sites will be. You can set up an ortho template for each drawing size that you might use, and select it when you go to create the drawing. So, let's take a look at our ten model dot dwg. I'm going into our plant 3D drawings, and open up our 10 model. Now I'm going to go ahead and create a new orthographic view for this. I'm going to come up to our ortho, and I'm going to create a new. I'm going to call this one 10 03 ortho, and I'm going to say okay. I'm going to cancel out of this command before I actually create the view. Then I'm going to flip back to my 10 03 ortho drawing. We're going to take a look at the layers.
