- [Instructor] Welcome to Chapter Nine, and we're going to take a look at creating class properties. Let's take a look now at one of the most powerful features of the Plant 3D program, which is the ability to create custom data fields for our components. When we start working with a new client, one of the things that we typically have to do is create data fields based on that client's CAD standards. With Plant 3D this is a fairly straightforward process and once you have a grasp of the steps, we can customize the information that's relevant to that particular class. So let's open Project Manager and take a look at the hierarchy. So we're going to navigate to two locations here, we're going to look at the P&ID drawing settings and then the P&ID class definitions, and also the Plant 3D drawing settings and the Plant 3D class definitions.
