Placing footings

- [Instructor] So the last thing we're going to take a look at is footings. If we want to add some concrete footings to a design, we can place basic rectangular shapes using the footing option in the parts panel. So let's go ahead and open drawing 0308. We're going to place six concrete footings at the base of our columns here. So once again, I'm going to change into our line model so that we can see our line work much more clearly. And in settings here, I'm going to come to footings. And it's very straight forward, there's not a lot of geometry we need to look at here is standard and a codes. So I'm just going to stick with what we have, the ASTM, and I'm just going to stick with concrete here. But I'm going to change the size, I'm going to make the length 24 and the width 24, so make them square footings, and we'll have a depth of 36 inches. And I'll say OK, and we're ready to place that.
