Organize DWG files in Windows Explorer
- [Instructor] During the design phase, project files, folders, and general organization may change from time to time. Adding a new process train, perhaps the addition of new equipment, upgrading the existing equipment, all of this creates instances where file reorganization's required. As an administrator, it will be up to you to make sure that all the files are moved and organized without losing any project data. Let's take some existing files, and relocate them to other places in the project. Let's start with our project Plant 3D Drawings. In the last video we created our AREA 100, and inside this AREA 100 we have our EQUIPMENT and PIPING, and then we moved our PIPING drawing outside of the PIPING folder. Now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to move this drawing back inside that folder now. I'm going to take this 04_01 drawing, I'm going to drag it inside the PIPING folder so that we have our EQUIPMENT and our PIPING inside AREA 100. Again, we're going to open that drawing, we're…
