- [Instructor] An alternate way to run pipe is to use AutoCAD lines to create our piping using the Line to Pipe command. If we have a routed centerline, we can choose a spec and the AutoCAD line will be flooded with the 3D piping, including elbows and tees. So let's open our drawing 05_09_PIPING. And I'm going to switch to our parallel view. I'm just going to navigate around to the vertical tank that we have that sits just underneath our structure here. Now you notice there's a centerline, I've gone ahead and run a centerline from that pipe coming out across that rack. We're going to use Line to Pipe to create the piping on that centerline. So first of all, I want you to just take a look at the nozzle. And we're looking at an eight-inch, 300 pound flange. So I'm going to come up to our parts insertion, I'm going to choose an eight-inch CS300. Now, what I'm going to do is pick all the lines that you see here. And you'll notice the flange on the vessel is showing a teardrop, which means…
