Import existing models to your project

- [Narrator] During the life cycle of an engineering project, the plant models are constantly be modified and updated. We can reuse existing models to add new design information to our current project, without having to spend time redrawing components that have already been created for a similar project. It's important to understand, however, the correct way to reuse existing drawings without compromising the integrity of the project data. So, let's open our project. Open. Desktop. Exercise files. Chapter 7. Project XML. Now, let's take a look in our Plant 3D Drawings. You can see, here, we have 07 01 piping. Now, if somebody else might have included an equipment drawing that we may want to take that modeled equipment, and use that as part of this project.
