Editing structural beams

- [Instructor] Editing structural components once they're in place is pretty straightforward. If you want to change the type and shape that you've placed, we can use the structure edit button on the modify panel of the ribbon menu or select the beam and use the edit structure option found in the right click menu. We also have tools that will cut, lengthen and miter beams. In this lesson we're going to take a quick look at some of these options. Let's open 03_04_STRUCTURE and that takes us back to our lovely little structure that we made in our last video. Just a few points here. I'm going to flip into our top view and notice that we're looking at this in perspective. We can see those vertical beams and it makes navigating look a little bit strange, so what we want to do when we're working with Plant 3D is always make sure that you're working in parallel mode and to do that we just click the view that we see on the top left-hand corner of our work area and make sure that you're viewing…
