- [Instructor] Now that we have a good understanding of specs and catalogs, let's just jump right in and create a brand new spec. So first we're going to go up to our file, and new, and we're going to create a spec. Now let's just take a look at the options we have here before I hit that. We can create a brand new spec, in which case we will be populating everything from the catalog, or we can create a spec from existing. If you have something that's close, it's always easier to take that existing one and edit, but it's up to you, that's a judgment call. If you feel it's quicker to start a new one, create a new one. If you feel it's quicker to start from existing, you can do that too. So we're going to create the spec, and we're going to give that spec a name. First I'm going to come out to our desktop, exercise files, 02 02 create a new spec, and we're going to call this one "LI CS 150", and we'll hit save. Now I'm going to give it a description just so we can see how this works. So…
