Create a custom report

- Creating custom reports does take some time, especially when you're customizing many different reports for a project. However, the time is definitely well-spent, as it's a one-time setup and then it's always there when you need it. We're going to create a new report for now. And we're going to create a LinkedIn-specific report. So let's open our software. And we're going to go to Project, Open. Desktop. Exercise files. Chapter 13. Project.xml. So when you create a new report, you should always create from an existing report because then you don't have to go back and set up all the queries from scratch. The basics are there, we can just swap out the ones that we don't need, and add some additional ones that we do. So for example, I'm going to go to our valve list. Now I'm going to come to Edit and under my Report Configuration, I'm going to use the drop-down list and I'm going to say New. So my option is to start with a blank report. I would say always start from an existing report…
