Audit and back up your project database

- [Instructor] In order to keep your database clean and synced with your drawings, you should perform regular database maintenance. This makes sure that any components that you delete from your drawing are also deleted from the database. This a very simple procedure that just takes a few clicks. So we go over into your Project Manager and up on the Project 3D Admin node on Project Manager window, we right-click and we run an audit on the project. It runs through all the records in the database and double-checks to make sure that they're attached to existing components in the model or the P90. It's a very straightforward procedure, and it's good practice to run this every time you exit a drawing, run the audit before you exit out; so save and audit is a good practice to get into. In addition, we can also create backups. This can be set to automate. I would suggest that this is kept as a project administrator task, and then basically we're just going to do the same thing.
