Assign new line numbers
- [Instructor] During this course we used the assign line numbers from the Parts Insertion panel in the ribbon menu while we were running new pipe. More often than not, pipers finds themselves having to run pipe before they have the line numbers assigned, typically when you're doing some kind of front end work or some proposals. If you run the piping with an unassigned designation, don't worry, we can change that very easy once the design progresses. Let's go to 06_03_PIPING. I'm going to switch this here to our parallel view and I want you to take a look at the properties down here so I'm going to just click on one of these lines and I'm going to open the properties window and you can see here that we're looking at line number 100 which has been designated to this line. I'm going to select this vertical one here and you'll see that it's still showing unassigned. This was this new additional pump that we added. We want to make this whole entire run line 100.
