Adding branches
- [Instructor] Creating branches is easy with Plant 3D. Using grips and dynamic input is the key to creating the branches quickly and accurately. Make sure that you're familiar with both these on-screen tools and then we can get started. So let's open drawing 05_04_PIPING. I'm going to change our view here to parallel and I'm going to go into our top view. So I'm just going to run a couple of test runs here. We're not going to use this piping that I'm going to create and we'll delete it when we're done. Just want to show you how the grips work. So for example I'm going to come up and create this six inch run of pipe and I'm going to draw from here to here. Looking at the grips on this, notice that if we highlight this pipe we have three grips. We have the continue pipe here, we have the option to create a branch, and we have the continue pipe.
