The welcome screen
- [Instructor] When we first start AutoCAD for Mac, we're taken here to the welcome screen. This allows us to choose which path we want to take as we start working with AutoCAD for Mac. From here, I can either start a new drawing from a blank template, I can continue working on any previous or recently opened drawings that I've been working on, I can click here to open up Finder and locate another project that maybe I haven't been working on recently, or I can click Explore Sample Drawings to open up a web browser and download sample drawings from Autodesk's website. The next path is Learn, and this shows us a series of short videos on basic concepts like previewing the user interface, basic gestures or printing a drawing. Lastly, I have the Extend tab which allows me to go directly to the Autodesk AutoCAD for Mac Forum, go to the YouTube channel for some quick training videos, the Autodesk Services and Support page or…
